Bluey is an Australian children's animated series for preschoolers that premiered on ABC Kids on October 1, 2018. The show was created by Joe Brumm with the production company, Ludo Studio.
For those who have had a difficult childhood, the show can be healing. And for those raising their own children, it can be a resource to help them become better parents. My colleague (and licensed clinical social worker) Jacalyn Wetzel says she recommends "Bluey" to clients who are struggling with parenting.
Bluey is a drawing that teaches us many things. It is for parents and children. It teaches us how to manage emotions, respectful parenting, problem solving, among other things and thousands of valuable things.
