Bandai products

Bandai has been founded in 1950 by Naoharu Yamashina in Japan under the name Bandai-ya. The Japanese pronunciation of the phrase "Bandai fueki" means "eternally unalterable". Yamashina has felt that this phrase expressed his desire that Bandai be a company that makes toys to please people of all generations, regardless of the times in which they live.

Bandai España SA is a subsidiary of one of the largest companies in the entertainment world, Bandai Co. Ltd. Established in 1989 in Spain, Bandai has become a distributor of some of the most popular toy families of all time: Power Rangers, Pocoyo, Big Hero 6, Peppa Pig, Bratz, Tamagotchi, Pokémon, etc.

In September 2005, Namco Ltd. and Bandai Co. Ltd. merged to form the Bandai Namco group.

Currently, Bandai Namco's global interests span five strategic business units: Toys and Hobbies, Entertainment Centers, Video Games, Mobile Content, and Visual and Music Content. The Bandai Namco group consists of more than 50 companies employing a total of 3,400 people.

Historical milestones

1993 - The Power Rangers television series is born as Bunny's adventures in Sailor Moon become a hit with the youngest girls in the world.

1996 - Launch of the first Tamagotchi

1997 - HYPER YO-YO and Digimon are released.

2001 - Yasmin, Cloe, Sasha and Jade triumph worldwide. The Bratz dolls, distributed by Bandai in Spain, have become an international success.

2005 - Namco Ltd. and Bandai Co. Ltd. merge to form the Bandai Namco group.

2006 - Bandai launches the first toys of the Pocoyo preschool series on the Spanish market.

2008 - Ben 10 Toys becomes a worldwide hit.

2012 - Peppa Pig toys arrive in Spain.

2014 - Hako Vision, a palm-sized 3D video projection device, becomes a hit.
