Collecta defends as its own mission to promote awareness in society about the protection of animals and their rights. His figures try to exemplify social values among which he counts in a main way "feeding and promoting love for animals, especially endangered species".
Every year, Collecta adds new figures to its collection. These are highly resistant figures, made of vinyl and painted by hand. They can be divided into two large groups: prehistoric animals and currently existing species. Within these, we find various series:
Forest animals (Europe).
African fauna.
North American fauna.
South American fauna.
Australian fauna.
Polo animals.
Animals of seas and oceans.
Insects
Farm animals.
Horses, whose sculptures are made by Deborah McDermott.
The figures are characterized by their marked realism and attention to detail.
Along with the "classics" such as elephants, tigers and lions, we find more exotic specimens such as the capybara or the African civet, or the recently extinct thylacine. It also develops a line of special attention to all types of ungulates and antelopes.
