Passionate about the world of toys in which he grew up, Alain Joly decides to revolutionize this sector by teaming up with a friend to found the Doudou et Compagnie group (in the Val d' Hey). They have been able to surround themselves with people as talented and passionate as they are, including the good fairy Zora, stylist and "mom" of the team.
2000 - The birth of the first blanket
The day that Zora, the brand's designer, sews a stuffed animal head in her newborn baby's diaper... a small revolution is coming in the world of blankets! A manufacturing error has thought Alain Joly ... And yet! This is how the first blanket without padding was born, it became an essential reference in the world of early childhood.
2002 - A bear story...
The Doudou group et Compagnie is relaunching the Histoire d'Ours brand, created in 1985. Timeless and traditional, Histoire d'Ours offers an exceptional variety of traditional bears and fairy animals to delight the daily lives of young and old.
2003 - "Then do, do, do" ...
Inspired by cuddly toys and awakening the imagination of children, DOUDOU ET COMPAGNIE creates the DOUDOU-PUPPET. What could be more beautiful than the bond between a father and his son? This explains the success of the Doudou puppet, which is part of the daily life of many families.
2004 - Collector Doudou, the timeless ...
The team is growing! New talents join the Doudou et Compagnie group. Stylists and seamstresses search for new materials and propose new concepts and new shapes adapted to the needs of the baby. DOUDOU COLLECTOR is born: colorful and elaborate with its multiple petals, it clashes and brings a very new style to the universe of the doudou. Timeless, it always seduces with its originality.
2007 - Organic and natural quilts
Sensitive to respect and protection of the environment "Doudou et Compagnie" innovates with a 100% natural line where the cotton flower and corn fiber intermingle in an adorable newborn collection.
2009 - Doudou Tatoo, tattooed stuffed animals to find them better!
To facilitate the reunion, “Doudou et Compagnie” joins forces with the Doudou Tatoo service and creates the first collection of tattooed quilts. Provided with a label with a UNIQUE IDENTIFICATION CODE, in case of loss of the DOUDOU, the person who finds it calls Toll Free and communicates the personal code of the DOUDOU to the team that is in charge of contacting the owners.

The Doudou group et Compagnie acquires Maïlou Tradition, one of the last plush and cuddly toy manufacturing workshops in France! Located in Chateaubourg, Brittany, each product is handmade there. The choice of materials, safety and level of finish are carried out with experience by their passionate and qualified seamstresses.
