Hasbro was founded by three brothers: Herman, Helal, and Henry Hassenfeld on December 6, 1923, as "Hassenfeld Brothers," a textile company that later expanded into the school supply market. In the 1940s, the company succeeded in making its first toys - a line of doctor's kits. However, they were not recognized until the release of their flagship toy "Mr. Potato", invented by George Lerner in 1952. Later, the brothers produced toys under the G.I. In 1982, Hasbro launched what would become another successful toy franchise: My Little Pony, which is currently the company's most successful franchise.3 Acquires the Milton Bradley Company two years later, operating under the name "Hasbro Bradley" ever since. With this acquisition, the company now owns the rights to various board games such as Yahtzee, The Game of Life, Twister, among others.
