Chilesaurus - Papo FIGURE CHILESAURUS (PAPO) Chilesaurus diegosuarezi is the only known species of the extinct genus Chilesaurus of theropod dinosaur tetanur that lived during the Upper Jurassic 150 million years ago in what is now South America. Its fossils were discovered in the Aysén region of Chile. It is one of the few known herbivorous theropods. According to the fossils found in the Toqui Formation, Chilesaurus coexisted with other small-sized theropods, basal crocodyliforms, and both diplodocid and titanosaurian sauropod dinosaurs. Recommended minimum age: 3 years and up.
