Savannah Cards – Djeco A wild strategy game, where players will try to win as many green star cards as they can. But beware of taking red stars! Dangers lurk in the savannah... GAME PREPARATION: All the cards are dealt among the players. There are 4 families of animals: elephants, lions, hyenas or zebras. Some animals have positive points (green stars), some negative points (red stars), and others nothing. Zebras are the wild cards. Players must order their cards first by families and then by numbers, from lowest to highest. GAME DEVELOPMENT: The objective is to win the maximum number of green stars, therefore there will be hands that we will be interested in winning and others that we will lose. The first player plays a card and the next has to play another and so on until the end of a round. The cards to be played must be from the same animal family or a zebra card. When everyone has played a card, whoever has the highest number (of the family or the zebra) wins the hand. That player will take the cards and place them face down in front of him. Some zebra cards have actions to perform at the end of the turn. When no player has cards in hand, each one adds their green stars and subtracts the red ones and the one with the most points wins. From 8 to 99 years.
