Description

The Skitarii Rangers harness the energies of forge worlds in their weaponry and are relentless hunters. For them, the fight isn't over until their enemy is destroyed, even if it means tracking them across galaxies for decades. Skitarii Rangers stalk their prey with galvanic rifles, wearing gas masks and hoods. Each is clad in sealed Skitarii armor, emblazoned with the symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus and filled with data-gathering sensors, antennae, and environmental monitors. Aware of the harsh Martian terrain, their legs have been amputated from the knees down and replaced with cybernetically enhanced bionic prostheses. The unit may include an Alpha, armed with a voltaic or radium pistol and a melee weapon (which can be an energy sword, a taser rod, or a voltaic mace), and three models who can use special weapons. You have a transuranic arquebus, a voltaic rifle, and a plasma caliver available. The latter includes a specific head and backpack. One model can be converted into an Alpha and use an enhanced data chain or an omnispex; the box truly showcases the Adeptus Mechanicus's obsessive data-gathering nature. This multi-part plastic kit contains everything you need to assemble ten Skitarii Rangers or ten Skitarii Vanguard. The box includes 124 components: twenty-three heads, twelve of which are Vanguard helmet/respirator variants, twenty-five weapons, a transfer sheet, one 60x35.5mm oval base, and ten 25mm round bases.
