Tylosaurus figure - Collecta Tylosaurus (from the Greek τυλος / tylos "protuberance" + σαυρος / sauros "lizard") is an extinct genus of mosasaur, a group of large marine predators closely related to monitor lizards and snakes today. Like many other mosasaurids, the early history of this taxon is complex and involves the infamous rivalry between two of America's earliest paleontologists, Edward Drinker Cope and Othniel Charles Marsh. Originally, the name "Macrosaurus" proriger was proposed by Cope2 for a fragmentary skull and thirteen vertebrae collected near Monument Rocks in western Kansas in 1868. Plastic figure taking care of realism and finish. All production complies with European quality and safety controls that guarantee that the materials and paints used are free of lead and toxins. For all ages.
